Ron Sandwina is a communication studies scholar and a student advocate. His areas of scholarship include intergroup dialogue, conflict navigation, and organizational communication. His passion is serving students. Ron has been honored with numerous teaching and service awards, including the Champion for All Students Award, which was conferred by IU Indianapolis Student Government in 2003, and the IU Indianapolis Advocate for Equity in Accessibility Award, which was presented by the university in 2017. Ron enjoys drinking coffee in the morning and playing trivia with friends at night. He and his puppy, Dusty, can often be found muttering at a computer together.
