About
Janice has been a part of this campus' community off and on for nearly 30 years, starting as a student and now serving as an Assistant Program Director in the Center for Transfer and Adult Students. She is also a Senior Associate Faculty Member in the School of Liberal Arts and has designed and taught courses in Communication Studies; Women's, Gender and Sexuality Studies; First Year Seminars; Summer Bridge; Learning Communities, and Career Development. Janice advocates for first generation, adult, transfer, parenting, neurodivergent, LGBTQIA, and veteran students. Janice herself identifies with several of the aforementioned lived experiences. Janice seeks to make a positive impact every day, whether she is interacting with students at an event or collaborating with a colleague to innovate a process. Janice enjoys working with yarn, sometimes even during meetings as a way to keep her mind focused on the moment. Janice is a fan of Shah Rukh Khan and bugs native to Indiana, among many other topics.
