Every student’s journey is different, and we want to celebrate yours! Through these events and traditions just for transfer and adult students, we hope you’ll find ways to celebrate your path and your accomplishments, and connect with others’ journeys, too.
We partner with the IU Indianapolis Orientation team to host sessions designed specifically to support the needs of transfer, adult, returning, and military-connected students.
New transfer and adult students are introduced to the campus community by CTAS-hosted sessions during Bridge Week, the week before classes begin each fall.
Each October, National Transfer Student Week features events to celebrate the students who bring their learning and determination from campuses around the world to IU Indy.
Occurring in the third week of November, this week’s special events shine a light on the experiences of adult students and students with children.
Tau Sigma recognizes and promotes the academic excellence of transfer students. IU Indy’s chapter hosts an induction each year to honor new members of the national organization.
